Ahl Masr Foundation
Ahl Masr Foundation
Overview
Ahl masr is a non-governmental Egyptian organisation that aims to provide trauma and burn victims not only with the most advanced therapy techniques but also with top-quality integrated services, from the crucial education on prevention to rehabilitation, social reintegration and helping victims and their families cope with their emotional and social needs post-treatment. Ahl Masr is now building the Middle East's largest and only hospital to treating burn victims for free. Until the hospital is finished, they are not standing still; Ahl Masr began implementing its nationwide Safe Village Initiative.
Their research team found out that improving living conditions in villages in Upper Egypt makes it tremendously liable for burn accidents that can reach to hundreds of households. In addition to that, people lack awareness on the topic.
