Overview
Ahlam Lajea Association (ALA) is a Lebanese non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering refugees and other vulnerable communities through sustainable development, education, protection, and community-based programs. Established to support primarily Palestinian refugees while also serving other marginalized groups, the association works to improve access to quality education, vocational training, youth empowerment, child protection, psychosocial support, and livelihood opportunities. ALA adopts a long-term, community-centered approach by implementing practical projects, building local partnerships, and strengthening the capacity of individuals and communities to achieve greater self-reliance and resilience. Through its humanitarian and development initiatives, the organization aims to foster social inclusion, stability, and lasting positive change for disadvantaged populations across Lebanon.
