Al Jaleel Center
Overview
Children of Al Jaleel Center (CJC) is a local non - profit organization. It was established in May 2007 to work with Palestinian and Lebanese community in Beqaa valley. It aims to spread Human Rights culture especially Child Rights and enable them to be an active participation in society. Al-Jalil Center (CJC), provides support for children who receive daily schooling and weekly activities at the CJC.
The children come to the center to study Monday – Thursday, their focus is to study; Mathematics, Arabic, English, Computers / Programming. Also – psychosocial activities (games, drawing, crafts,etc.) are included for all children every Friday and Saturday. They also conduct workshops on children’s rights for the children to understand and know more about their rights.
