AlAtaa Charitable Society
Overview
Al-Ataa Charitable Society was established in 2000, having obtained License No. 6057 from the Ministry of Interior—in accordance with the Law on Charitable Societies and Civil Society Organizations—and License No. 1017 from the Ministry of Social Affairs. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, raising awareness among, and empowering women, as well as integrating them into civil society issues and improving their economic status. The Society also focuses on child health, education, and global connectivity, while striving to improve living conditions for individuals with special needs and integrating them into society and its institutions to enhance their cultural standing. Furthermore, the Society engages youth by providing opportunities for community development participation and fostering a spirit of optimism, giving, and volunteerism. It places significant emphasis on the elderly through health and awareness programs and targets children and adolescents by strengthening their culture and Palestinian identity.
