Overview
ALPHA (Association Libanaise Pour la Promotion Humaine et l'Alphabétisation) is a Lebanese non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting human development through education, literacy, and social empowerment. Established to address illiteracy and social exclusion, ALPHA works with marginalized communities, including women, youth, refugees, and vulnerable adults, by providing literacy programs, vocational training, and awareness-raising initiatives. The association emphasizes participatory learning, human rights, and active citizenship, aiming to strengthen individuals’ capacities and foster inclusive, sustainable development across Lebanon.
