Alsafina Organization
Overview
It is a non-profit organization that works to promote free expression, exploration, creativity, and peaceful coexistence with others, through the use of cultural and artistic tools and psychological support - in the village of Balansoura - a marginalized and geographically remote village.
It is connected by an unstable transportation network, and suffers from a state of societal tension and lack of acceptance of others. This is due to the lack of sustainable spaces that bring Christians and Muslims together, and their presence is limited to public schools only. Hence, “AlSafina” came to be a true space for dialogue and rapprochement, where every individual is allowed to express himself freely and discover his energies in a safe environment.
