Arab Women Organization of Jordan (AWO)
Overview
The Arab Women Organization of Jordan (AWO) is a women NGO founded in 1970. The association seeks to develop women's leadership capabilities and find solutions to raise the social, political and economic participation and to end cycles of violence against women. It also build networks and partnerships based on a new vision based on recognizing the increasing burdens of women at home after adding the burden of distance learning and caring for Corona patients, and based on ending harassment of women in the workplace, unleashing women's energies and encouraging them to work socially at the local and national levels.
