Association Tunisienne des Médias Alternatifs(ATMA)
Overview
The Tunisian Association of Alternative Media is a cultural association founded in 2013 by a group of Tunisian journalists, as well as civil society activists. Its main objective is to supervise young Tunisians in the regions and to introduce them to good journalistic practices. Participating in the professionalization of citizen journalists and helping them launch their own projects is at the heart of the association's activity.
In close collaboration with its partners, the Association has set itself the objective, since its creation, of participating in the upgrading of the media sector by offering training sessions in favor of professional Tunisian journalists and by engaging in various events and debates dealing with this theme.
