Baader Foundation
Overview
Baader Foundation for Development is a non-governmental, non-profit youth-led organization in Yemen that began as a youth initiative in 2011 and was officially registered in 2012 with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The foundation works to promote sustainable community development by empowering young people and strengthening their role as key partners in development. Its activities focus on capacity building, awareness raising, research, and community initiatives in areas such as peacebuilding, good governance, protection, gender equality, food security, water and sanitation, and environmental health. Baader also implements humanitarian and advocacy activities, supports volunteerism, and promotes women’s and youth participation in public life, guided by values of integrity, transparency, justice, and professionalism.
