Overview
Disability is a decisive obstacle to the adoption of an abandoned child in the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region. This required and imposed the creation of a reception structure. This is how the Bayt Bahia Association for Abandoned Disabled Children was created on October 30, 2007 in Beni Mellal ,The association was recognized as a Social Protection Establishment by the Ministry of the Family on 24/12/2014 under number 14/984. ABBEAH works to welcome children with disabilities deprived of a family in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region and advocates for inclusive regional development through inclusive education, public awareness, capacity building, public policy advocacy and support for people with disabilities with a view to their socio-economic integration.
