Overview
BENAA Foundation is a youth-led non-profit organization that aims at building the capacities of the youth, in order to build sustainable development projects and create an enabling community in the MENA region. Their social innovation pyramid is a term coined in 2016 to describe their integrated loop of change-making; by producing and transferring knowledge on sustainable development, training youth, and strengthening their capacities to implement knowledge-based youth-led participatory development projects in collaboration with local communities, to achieve sustainable development. Their fields of focus are 1) Water, Sanitation, and hygiene (2) Sustainable architecture and built environments (3)Solid waste management (4) Agricultural development and post-harvesting solutions.
