Beyond Plastic Med
Overview
Beyond Plastic Med is an initiative aim to create an international platform, dedicated to research and implementation of solutions against plastic pollution in the Mediterranean Sea. This task force aims at bringing together the private sector, civil society, political and regional initiatives in a global cooperation network. To support and encourage environmental conservation projects and thus launch the process of restoring and protecting the Mediterranean Sea. The missions of BeMed: :
- Support and network actors engaged against plastic pollution in the Mediterranean
- Implement effective and sustainable solutions and promote the search for new alternatives
- Mobilize the actors and the general public by the knowledge and the sharing of the good practices
