Bledii Association
Overview
Blédii association is an association created in 2012 which aims to supervise young people and involve them in public life and promote their skills in order to prepare them to support the values of citizenship and become an engine of change.
Blédii association is interested in strengthening the capacity of the local population in terms of local governance and seeks to raise understanding and awareness of the new context of decentralization, with particular attention to vulnerable groups (young people and women). They prioritize the development of social responsibility among citizens to keep society resilient to violent extremism.
Also we work for the popularization of the principles of decentralization and local governance through:
- the implementation of capacity building programs for municipalities to make inclusive and consultative decisions, to better respond to citizens demands and participatory management of local affairs, as part of our "Regional Council for Governance" project, of which eight municipalities in the Kasserine region are beneficiaries.
- Regional advocacy for the activation of the position of access to information officer within the municipalities, which aims to promote the culture of the fight against corruption at the scale local
