Brave Heart
Overview
Brave Heart is a non-profit organization whose mission is “no child should die of heart disease because of a lack of funds” and its goal is to help cover the cost of surgeries and hospitalization for underprivileged children diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease. Brave Heart provides support to families who qualify for financial aid at the AUBMC Social Services Office, without any form of discrimination, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, or religious affiliation. Thanks to the continued assistance of their generous community members, Brave Heart has successfully saved the lives of more than 4,000 children born with Congenital Heart Disease to date.
