Center for Victims of Torture

Overview

The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) is an international non-profit organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Founded in 1985, it was the first torture survivor rehabilitation center in the United States and is dedicated to healing survivors of torture and advocating for human rights. CVT provides multidisciplinary rehabilitative care, including psychotherapy, medical care, social work, and physical therapy, tailored to the needs of torture survivors.
