Overview
Researchers at the Centre of Policy Studies have a 45-year history of continuous achievement in the development, application and dissemination of large-scale economic models. Their models and software are used around the world to analyse a diverse range of economic issues. CoPS’ funders include: central government agencies such as finance and trade ministries in a number of countries, including the US and China; international development organisations; private firms and universities in many parts of the world and Australian federal and state government departments.
The Centre’s GEMPACK software, used for solving large economic models, is used at more than 700 sites in over 95 countries.
