Overview
Christian aid is an international foundation that works with local partners and communities to fight injustice, responds to humanitarian emergencies, campaigns for change, and helps people claim the services and rights they are entitled to.
They work with people living in poverty in some of the poorest communities around the world to end injustice This involves working in partnership with local organisations, as well as with governments and the private sector.
They aim to end poverty and injustice worldwide by focusing on the following key areas:
1. Assist people in claiming their rights and access services such as healthcare and education
2. ensure they are not discriminated against for any reason
3. become more resilient to shocks and disasters such as drought, climate change and hurricanes
4. make the most of opportunities, such as being able to sell their produce for a fair price.
