CIDDEF
Overview
CIDDEF, an Information and Documentation Center on the Rights of the Child and Women opened its doors on May 9, 2002. This space has become a necessity for human rights activists as well as for professionals (researchers and students) women's issues and childhood. Need imposed by lack of space for expression and information.
CIDDEF is a place for meetings and exchanges between all partners. It also aspires to be a bridge between civil society and public institutions. In order to meet these objectives, CIDDEF has acquired means of communication, in particular networked computer equipment, a DTP station and reproduction equipment.
At the same time, CIDDEF has set up a documentary database on the Status of Women and the Rights of the Child, estimated at more than 2000 titles that can be consulted on the website: www.ciddef-dz.com. This fund keeps growing.
