CIES onlus was born on 8 July 1983. work for an open society in which all people can experience the same opportunities and the same protections. Work every day for an open society, where diversity, encounter and exchange represent the greatest wealth. A society in which all people can live in dignity with the same opportunities and the same protections.
CIES works to promote the participation of civil society in a dimension of global citizenship and to build sustainable development processes based on peace, respect for human rights and democracy and dialogue between different cultures and religions. Therefore, it counteracts any form of racism, discrimination, xenophobia and social exclusion.
