Cmc, Founded in Ravenna in 1901, Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti - CMC di Ravenna is a leading Italian construction company. CMC is the market leader in large-scale construction and public works projects (infrastructure, public buildings, hydraulic works), high-speed railway projects and private projects such as shopping centres, hotels and tourist complexes. Well established in Italy, CMC is actively involved in the expansion of the infrastructure and industrial sector of the Romana region. CMC has been operating permanently throughout the world since 1975. Its focus is particularly on the countries where it is established and on the projects for which it has extensive knowledge. CMC currently works in South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, Angola, Malawi, Botswana, Algeria, Laos, the Dominican Republic, China, Singapore, Bulgaria and the United States of America. Today, half of its revenues come from projects abroad. CMC's permanent staff is 466 people, 401 of whom are also members of the cooperative, and it currently employs more than 8,500 people worldwide
