Development and Peace

Overview

The Canadian Catholic Organization for 'Development and Peace' is a democratic movement for international solidarity. This group works with partners in the Global South, to pursue alternatives to unjust social, political and economic structures. It also strives to educate Canadians on problems in the Global South and to inspire them to take action for social change.

Development and Peace is a partner centered organization. It is not a donor centered organization. Development and Peace works with the people in Global South and concentrates on what they believe they need. This organization is inspired by the values of the Gospel, particularly "the preferential option for the poor".
