Established in 2012, DAA focuses on enhancing agricultural and economic development through modern technologies and practices. The association actively coordinates with agricultural departments and local farmers to implement advanced model projects in agriculture, animal husbandry, and related fields. Its mission includes revitalizing the agricultural sector, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and fostering community development. DAA operates across various Iraqi governorates, including Nineveh, Dohuk, and Anbar, implementing projects that address the needs of internally displaced persons, host communities, and returnees. These initiatives aim to build the country's economy, reduce unemployment, and raise the level of scientific and agricultural development. In collaboration with international partners like the German organization Arbeiter Samariter Bund (ASB) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), DAA has played a pivotal role in improving Iraq's agricultural sector. The association also engages in social responsibility initiatives, such as distributing food baskets to underprivileged families and orphans during the holy month of Ramadan, demonstrating its commitment to humanitarian support and social solidarity. Overall, DAA strives to empower communities, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Iraq.
