DOZ Syria is a local nonprofit NGO registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Damascus (Reg. No. 167).Doz NGo Syria is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) that began in Syria in 2011, founded by university students responding to the humanitarian crisis caused by conflict and displacement. With a community-led vision, DOZ focused on supporting women, youth, and children—groups most affected by the conflict. Over time, it evolved into a professional, multi-sectoral organization specializing in protection, livelihoods, and social cohesion.
