Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC)
Overview
EEC is an advisory body to the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry having the objective of enhancing the Egyptian engineering industries’ exports globally. EEC supports the Ministry in the formulation of export development strategies, policies, and programs, and communicates the challenges facing exporters to the relevant governmental authorities. The Council also works with companies to boost their exports through developing tailored export markets studies, participation in international exhibitions, organizing trade missions to target markets and buyers’ missions to Egypt, in addition to implementing projects that help enhance companies’ export readiness such as the project: “Enabling Egyptian Exports through Technology Transfer Driven Product Innovation” which was funded by the EU.
