Overview

The German Red Cross (DRK) is the national Red Cross society of Germany and part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. With over 150 years of history, it is the country's largest aid organization. The DRK acts as an umbrella organization for state associations and volunteers who provide humanitarian assistance in emergencies, regardless of origin, religion, or nationality.
