Handicarrefour
Overview
HandiCarrefour is a network of associations active in the field of disability in the Marrakech-Safi region. It was created in 2010 around an inclusive development project to realize and support the fundamental right to mobility via an adapted and accessible transport service for people with disabilities in the city of Marrakech.
The success of this action encouraged decision-makers to generalize it at the regional level (the MarrakechSafi region). Over time, the intervention has evolved to touch on other aspects always linked to the issues of people with disabilities such as the monitoring and evaluation of public policies, the capacity building of associations, territorial animation through the strengthening of dialogue with public actors.
