Hands Along the Nile
Hands Along the Nile
Overview
HANDS was founded in 1989, by Rev. Dr. Samuel Habib and some American friends. HANDS is an American 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that is committed to building bridges between the people of Egypt and the US. In addition to our programs of international exchange and dialogue, HANDS also supports projects aimed at bringing socioeconomic progress to Egyptian communities. HANDS looks to bring stability to the region by empowering communities to tackle their own problems through participatory decision–making and responsible self-governance.
