Overview
*Harmony Development Foundation* is an active and influential non-profit youth organization that was launched in 2014 as a youth initiative and was officially established in 2020 as a civil society organization working to enhance the roles of youth and women in public life and empower them in decision-making positions to contribute to achieving sustainable development and peacebuilding. This is done through building their capacities, refining their skills, and providing them with the necessary knowledge and tools to address societal issues, preserve social cohesion, consolidate a culture of peaceful coexistence and acceptance of others, and adopt dialogue values to achieve mutual understanding among local communities. It also highlights the roles of youth in the local peace process.
