Overview
Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung is a German non-profit political foundation affiliated with the Green Party whose mission is civic and political education in Germany and abroad. The foundation is headquartered in Berlin, and there are over 30 international offices around the world. Following the example of the writer and Nobel Prize winner Heinrich Böll, the foundation promotes democratic and sustainable development, and upholds the values of human rights, gender equality, and a global vision of environmental protection. The Foundation's office in Rabat opened in 2014. The three main areas of work in Morocco are: 1) ecology and sustainable development , 2) democracy and human rights , and 3) migration and mobility .
