Horizon Foundation
Overview
Horizon Foundation for Development is a non-profit Yemeni humanitarian organization that works towards the development of Yemeni communities across various sectors. Its geographical scope includes all governorates of the Republic of Yemen. The foundation is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees comprising both men and women.
It works towards achieving sustainable economic and social development in Yemen. It does so by supporting vulnerable, marginalized, and underserved communities, empowering local civil society organizations, promoting democratic participation, and building resilience to confront disasters.
