Overview
IDRAAC Institute for Development, Research, Advocacy and Applied Care is the first non‐profit organization (NGO) dedicated to mental health in Lebanon and the Arab World and is located in Beirut, Lebanon. Their work started in 1982 when IDRAAC’s members started conducting research and have been involved in many national and international studies, targeting different segments of the population and assessing different types of mental health conditions.
IDRAAC’s mission is to conduct and promote research in mental health, raise public awareness and advocate for mental health as a basic human right while providing care for all age groups (children, adolescents, adults and the elderly).
