Overview

The Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement (IECD) is an international solidarity organization founded in 1988 and recognized as a public-utility association in France. It works to create conditions that enable individuals, especially youth and small entrepreneurs, to build sustainable futures and contribute to fairer societies. Operating in 18 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Mediterranean / North Africa, the Middle East, the Indian Ocean, and Southeast Asia, IECD implements 79+ projects through partnerships with more than 400 local organizations. Its programs focus on three core areas: education, vocational training and youth employability, and entrepreneurship support, helping young people access quality training and supporting MSMEs in developing sustainable and responsible businesses.
