Overview
The National Institute of Science and Technology of the Sea INSTM is currently a Public Research Establishment under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture. It is the first and largest institution in Africa and the Arab world of its kind. Thanks to the dynamism of H. Heldt, the first Director of the Station, research then experienced a great boom.
