International Energy Agency (IEA)
International Energy Agency (IEA)
Overview
The International Energy Agency (IEA) is the global energy authority, providing data, analysis, and solutions on all fuels and all technologies. We help governments, industry, and citizens make good energy choices. It was created in 1974 to help coordinate a collective response to major disruptions in the supply of oil. While oil security remains a key aspect of our work, the IEA has evolved and expanded significantly since its foundation.
