The International Organization for the Empowerment of Women and Capacity Building (Tamkeen) is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit organization established in the United Kingdom and headquartered in London, registered with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice and registered with the United Nations. It works to develop women’s capabilities through various development programs. The organization also seeks to enhance the role of Women in leading and achieving sustainable development goals to achieve peaceful and inclusive societies and provide access to justice for all.
