International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG)

The International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) is a global women-led NGO founded in 2013 with the goal of achieving sustainable world peace through the active participation of women. It promotes the idea that women play a central role in peacebuilding and emphasizes values such as care, responsibility, and protection of life as foundations for creating a peaceful world.
The organization focuses on peace education, international solidarity among women, and advocacy for legal and institutional frameworks that support peace, including initiatives like the proposed Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW). It also runs training programs such as Peace Lecturer Training Education (PLTE), which prepares women to become peace educators in their communities.
