IREX (International Research & Exchanges Board) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education, strengthening independent media, fostering good governance, and empowering youth and leaders worldwide. Founded in 1968, IREX works in over 100 countries to promote positive social change through education and development initiatives. It focuses on numerous issues such as: Expanding access to quality education, training emerging leaders in various fields from governance to business , equipping young people with job skills and entrepreneurial training and strengthening civil society organizations and public institutions.
