Overview

JAÏDA , is a financing fund of microfinance institutions (MFIs) of Morocco. It was established as a Moroccan limited company and approved by the Central Bank of Morocco (Bank Al Maghrib), as a financing company. JAIDA was founded to Facilitate the financing of all MFIs to improve access to credit for micro-entrepreneurs in Morocco, Raise funding from private sources and attract new private capital to the microfinance sector and Foster the institutional development of MFIs. Beyond funding and institutional development, the JAIDA Fund is also a platform for harmonizing the efforts of international donors for the microfinance sector.

JAÏDA's mission is to mobilize resources and develop programs to increase economic development opportunities for income-generating activities in rural areas. Through this approach, it aims to contribute to the development of a new approach to microfinance that takes particular account, the agricultural sector. JAÏDA targets small and medium-sized MFIs in the first place, but remains open to large MFIs.

Through its action, the JAÏDA Fund contributes to job creation, increased income and improved living conditions for direct and indirect microfinance clients. Also, these actions aim to achieve a significant impact in terms of national financial inclusion.
