Jusoor

Overview

Jusoor is an NGO of Syrian expatriates supporting the country’s development and helping Syrian youth realize their potential through programs in the fields of education, career development, and global community engagement.

In 2011, they came together as a group of Syrian expatriates from different corners of the globe with a vision, believing that by harnessing the capacity and expertise of the more than 20 million expatriate Syrians, and connecting them to the hard working youth inside the country, they could mentor youth and invest in their country abroad. That was when Jusoor - or bridges - was born.

Jusoor has impacted the lives of Syrians around the world through establishing scholarship programs with world renowned universities, they have worked with over 2,500 children in their refugee education programs across three institutions in Lebanon, and mentored over 400 students on their academic careers.
