Kayany Foundation
Overview
Kayany Foundation was established to bring education to the most vulnerable refugee children. Kayany operates educational programs for Syrian refugee children living in Informal Tented Settlements (ITS) with a goal "To save a generation through education."
Kayany schools are safe and clean learning environments that offer one meal a day and an escape from the difficulties of settlement life. In addition, the schools offer psychosocial support to both our students and their families. Kayany also runs two all-girls secondary schools that were established in partnership with Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousefzai.
