Lead Foundation
Overview
The Egyptian Association for Project Development and Advancement (LEAD) is a non-profit association established in 2003. Lead for Microfinance was established with the contribution of some members of the Egyptian private sector who believe in and are committed to playing a major role in the social and economic development of Egypt and with the support of the United States Agency for International Development.
Lead's mission is to give each client the opportunity to move forward by engaging with each of its clients, providing a professional approach to understanding the client's business, and providing appropriate microfinance services with transparency and simple communication. Lead's goal is to directly reach the most needy segments of society and help them reach the stage of empowerment, such as micro-entrepreneurs and low-income individuals, especially women.
Believing in being a pioneer in the field of Egyptian microfinance, LEAD relies in all aspects of its work on the best practices of microfinance with transparency, ease and flexibility. Mansour Group is considered the main partner from the private sector, as Mansour Group has demonstrated its positive commitment to LEAD’s values and goals
