Limmat Stiftung

Overview

The Limmat Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation under federal supervision. It was founded on March 13, 1972 and has been active in Switzerland and abroad ever since. The Limmat Foundation is politically, religiously and ethnically independent.

As an advisory body, the Limmat Foundation has a patronage committee made up of international personalities from areas such as politics, business, art and sport. When it was set up, the Limmat Foundation was conceived as an umbrella foundation with its own project center. It initiates, organizes, accompanies and reviews social projects worldwide on behalf of the donors.
