Local Communities
Overview
Local Communities is an independent, non-profit Palestinian civil organization founded in 2020. It specializes in local development and local governance issues with national, regional and international dimensions. We seek and aspire to convey the voice of local communities in order to empower and develop them, and to enhance and protect the right of these communities to development on the basis of effective, free, active and purposeful participation of citizens and the fair distribution of the benefits and gains resulting from them.
