Madrasati
Overview
Madrasati, meaning "my school" in Arabic, is a non-profit initiative launched in 2008 by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan. The initiative aims to enhance the physical and educational environments of Jordan's most neglected public schools. Initially targeting 500 underperforming schools in dire need of rehabilitation, Madrasati has expanded its reach to assist approximately 830 schools across the kingdom. The initiative collaborates with over 140 partners from the public, private, and civil society sectors to implement comprehensive programs that include infrastructure refurbishment, teacher training, and the introduction of extracurricular activities. By fostering community engagement and public-private partnerships, Madrasati strives to create conducive learning environments that promote quality education for all Jordanian students.
