Masar Association
Masar Association
Overview
Masar is a Lebanese NGO that was founded in 2005 with the aim to contribute to local and national development processes and the advancement of society. Masar works in holistic development with an equal focus on community and policy levels, thus constantly promoting development, policy change, and good governance. Masar’s programs are based on human rights and the promotion of citizenship while ensuring that empowerment, participatory decision making, and advocacy are key approaches in its work. Masar’s key achievements have been the consolidation of a national youth network that has advocated the endorsement of a national youth policy by the government in 2012, which guarantees welfare and influence for the youth of Lebanon.
