Mediterranean Basin and Europe Foundation for Development

Overview

The Mediterranean Basin and Europe Foundation for Development (MEDEV) was established in November 2015 by a qualified Lebanese Team. It is dedicated to promoting increased Economic, Social, and Cultural links between the countries of the Mediterranean basin and Europe.

MEDEV projects strengthen capacities of societies, individuals and governments in the countries of the Mediterranean basin and Europe by:

  • Implementing economic, social, cultural and environmental projects at all levels .
  • Conducting scientific researches and exchanging of social, educational, agricultural, health, industrial and
  • cultural knowledge between the countries of the Mediterranean basin and Europe.
  • Exploiting every opportunity to enforce abidance to human rights, anti-corruption principles, transparency and e-government requirements, and enhancing quality management.
  • Delivering vocational training courses, and arranging conferences, seminars and consortiums at all levels.
  • Supporting the initiation and management of medium and small enterprises.
  • Supporting the entrepreneurship of elites and university students.
  • Fighting illiteracy, poverty, and making knowledge accessible to everybody.
