Mehad
Overview
Mehad is a French NGO for health and international solidarity born in 2011 from the desire of a group of doctors to respond to the urgent need to provide health care to populations affected by the war in Syria as well as in neighboring countries. First under the banner of AAVS (Association d'Aide aux Victimes en Syrie) and then that of UOSSM France (Union des Organisations de Secours et Soins Médicaux).
Mehad is committed to and alerts on the urgency of building, with local actors, sustainable health systems, guaranteeing sustainable development for populations.
