Mennonite Central Committee

Overview

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches, shares God's love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. n every country where MCC works, we partner with local churches and organizations with similar values. Together we work in three areas:
-Relief: Meeting people’s immediate needs for survival during times of crisis, such as a hurricane or war, and working alongside communities to recover. We also focus on helping communities prepare so that damages from future disasters are minimized.
-Development: Strengthening people’s long-term access to food and water, health care and education. Our programs also help people find ways to support their families.
-Peace: Teaching conflict transformation and trauma healing skills, supporting peace education, advocating for justice and encouraging people to work together despite their differences.
