Overview
Methods for Irrigation and Agriculture "MIRRA" is a jordanian, private, non-government, and not-for-profit research and development organization established in 2007. MIRRA’s mission is to work toward the implementation of sustainable development initiatives in Jordan by addressing the challenges facing the water, agricultural, and environmental sectors in order to contribute to water conservation, environmental sustainability, and social and economic prosperity. Their approach is centered around five principles:

MIRRA is dedicated to finding and implementing innovative and creative solutions. Since 2007, They have worked with researchers and industrial private sector in Europe and the USA to pilot, demonstrate and transfer technology. - SUSTAINABILITY
They focus on elements of durability and continuity in all our interventions, which contributes to their long-lasting benefits. - ADABTABILITY
They employ technologies and approaches that are validated specifically to local field conditions and community contexts. - STAKEHOLDERS INVOLVEMENT
All stakeholders are involved every step of the way in our development programs in order to ensure the highest level of participation, education and capacity-building. - NETWORKING
Communication and collaboration with local, regional and international institutions are key factors in our successful implementation of programs.
