My School Pulse
Overview
Myschoolpulse is the only non-profit in Lebanon that brings school to hospital for children between the ages of 5 and 18, who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses, and cannot attend regular school, regardless of their nationality, religion or gender. Myschoolpulse provides education in hospitals for children suffering from grave illnesses such as cancer. The benefits of the services provided are both educational and psychological:
- Help children pursue their education uninterrupted to keep up with their peers
- Minimize children’s feelings of exclusion from normal life
- Improve the well-being of children during medical stay
- Reduce anxiety about school re-integration upon recovery
- Reintegrate mainstream school upon recovery
